Slovakian obscure death metal act APOPLEXY, reissue of their sophomore album "Monarchy of Damned", having only been available on cassette and limited to 500 copies. Pure, old school classic death metal, combining the melodic elements with mid-to-fast paced rhythms, guttural vocals, acoustic passages and ultra, heavy riffs reminiscent of Demigod (Fin), early Sentenced (Fin) early Amorphis (Fin) and Death(USA)! Designed after the original 1999 original release, taking elements from the original layouts with attention to detail, even down to the logo and typeface for a touch of nostalgia. Also included are brand new liner notes from original founding members Mario Duga and Andrej Kohout.
